Well, not yet; I broke down and bought a new pair of Khaki Pants at Kohl's, mock Dockers. But I had to buy a pair that are too long in the leg (33" Inseam); Almost EVERY pair of pants I regularly wear have been tailored to a 29" Inseam. I own a pair in the proper waist size (embarrassing) I bought mail order from Kohl's this spring, but every color in that style (or any other?) was SOLD OUT in the 29" Inseam before the middle of June.
The Issue?
There is NO place in Rogers to take them for alterations. I used to just pop into "Model Laundry" in downtown Rogers. Not any more, they have moved operations to Bentonville. And none of the existing dry cleaners does alterations (or Kohl's or Penney's). An unfilled niche, someone had posted an "I Hem Pants" note in the Laundromat in Pea Ridge at one point this summer (Long gone), so I am not the only one with this problem.
It does give me something to blog about.
I lost enough weight this summer that I can again wear the Jeans I had tailored in 2014 when the weather gets a bit cooler.

Sunday Soup Kitchen Menu Report:
Sloppy Joe(s)? (Well, Only one for me), Tater Tots and Corn (Whole Kernel/Canned)
Desert was the Best, a Mini-Cheesecake Tart. Yummy, been a while since I had cheesecake of any sort.
Nice change from Fast Food and Ramen Noodles.

Sunday Dinner Report (Late)
The Menu
Pasta Casserole (Mostacholi sort of layered with a bit of Red Sauce, Beef and a Lot of Cheese)
Good stuff; I enjoyed it. Sort of like Lasagna.
Green Salad
Roll
(No Green Beans; I was so not disappointed)
There was some kind of desert, but don't recall.
Last Night (Wednesday) we had FRESH green beans with the regular Fellowship Dinner. So much tastier than the canned ones.

Sunday Dinner Report
Sort of a ho-hum Sunday "Community Meal" (Soup Kitchen)
Same menu as last week (Chicken Spaghetti and Seasoned Green Beans, No Side Salad (Did they run out? Didn't think to ask.) Just not as tasty as last weeks offering.
Chicken Spaghetti is a "Traditional Methodist Recipe."
And sat next to shockingly poor parenting, father (?) and three children, say 7-12 years old, none of them even sampled the entrée. One ate about half the green beans. No encouragement to them or real engagement with the children. Hey, if you are broke enough to eat at the soup kitchen, learn to eat what is put in front of you.
But what do I know.
Did have some positive interaction with two other diners, not sure if they saw it that way. Hopefully they will be back next week.

Another Sunday Dinner
For Sunday, August 2nd
Chicken Spaghetti ("A traditional Methodist Recipe"), Salad and (Canned) Green Beans; Homemade Ice Cream and Cookies for desert.
Nice tasty change to end the weekend.
All the green bean were eaten, it is the Green Salad that has the most varied reception.
Last week, it was Pulled Pork (catered) Baked Beans & Coleslaw.
Well worth the trip both weeks.
Only disturbing element remains the guy in the parking lot with his streaming confederate battle flag.
Late addendum, 110 meals served August 2nd.
